with Old Friends Senior Dog SanctuaryWe are seeking an experienced Dog Behaviorist/Trainer with a proven track record of working kindly with difficult dogs. This position will work directly with senior dogs who have developed behaviors and fears in their past lives that require extra attention and care to allow them to move on comfortably with their lives with at The PAWvillions or in a forever foster homes.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with senior dogs in our program
- Work directly with Dog Care staff
- Create and implement training and enrichment programs for dogs
Qualifications:
- Love for all dogs
- Proven work experience in the field
- Dependable transportation
- Great communication skills
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 40lbs
- Ability to pass a background check
