The Medical Department at Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary is currently hiring veterinary assistants to join our team. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and work well with the rest of the team.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Collecting lab samples
• General workplace upkeep such as laundry, mopping, and trash removal
• Cleaning kennels for surgical and intake dogs
• Assisting technicians with procedures
• Interacting with Geezer Guardians (forever foster families)
• Mailing medication refills
• Other duties as needed

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Veterinary Experience (preferred)
• Animal Handling (required)
