SENIORS, a dogumentary

 General Admission: $25 (+Belcourt Preservation Fee) |
*Tickets go on sale Fri, Feb 7 at 10:00am

SENIORS, a dogumentary focuses on three interwoven stories about senior dogs: there’s the Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, a beloved retirement home for elderly dogs in Tennessee; Chaser the Border Collie, generally considered the smartest dog in the world; and famed National Geographic photographer, Jane Sobel Klonsky, who has devoted much of her talents towards capturing the bond between elderly dogs and their owners.

The film captures the intelligence and vitality of senior dogs. It will make people think twice about the puppy when adopting, that they should take home the senior dog instead. And it will open eyes as to what is possible in the protection of senior dogs with the Old Friends sanctuary.

It’s an animal welfare film that will bring a smile to everyone’s face, as we highlight friskiness and intelligence, and definitely show that an old dog can certainly teach you new tricks.

Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary is a Forever Foster Home based Sanctuary in beautiful Mount Juliet, Tennessee, generally housing approximately 120 senior dogs at the Sanctuary and others in temporary and Forever Foster Homes. While providing lifetime homes for senior dogs, OFSDS strives to raise awareness of the joys and challenges of living with older dogs. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. We do not concern ourselves with the quantity of time that they have left, rather the quality of the life that we can provide them for that time.
