To build a Forever Foster Home network to enable us to place more senior dogs in loving home settings for the duration of their lives.

To work with other dog rescue groups to promote the adoption of senior dogs.

  • Happy National Dog Day 💚 Today, we’re celebrating every dog—the goofy puppies, the playful adults, and especially the seniors who have spent years loving, waiting, and hoping for their person. Senior dogs are so often overlooked because they’re older. But getting older doesn’t mean they have any less love to give. They still get excited for walks, melt into your lap, make you laugh, and look at you with those eyes that somehow say, “I’ve been waiting for you.” Every senior deserves to know what it feels like to be loved, chosen, and cherished. They deserve soft beds, slow walks, belly rubs, sunny naps, and someone who sees their age not as a reason to pass them by, but as a reason to love them even more. So this National Dog Day, don’t just celebrate the dogs who are young and full of energy. Celebrate the old souls, too. Because their best days can still be ahead of them. She may be a senior, but she still has plenty of love, personality, and good days ahead of her. Someone please tell Charm she’s not invisible. 💚
