Forrest

From his Geezer Guardians: “Forrest met so many nice animals and people while here on earth and was beloved by his mom, brothers, and doxie playmates. He also enjoyed a measure of fame on Instagram and in film. In his passing, all of us are sad, but we have been enriched by knowing him. In our almost three years together, he had great fun on basset ‘walks’ and trips to our farm. He had lovely quiet times, too. In his passing, there is sorrow, but Forrest taught us pure love and true courage. He taught us that even without one’s eyes, you can navigate the world with grace and positivity. Maybe now he can actually see us here remembering the remarkable creature that he was. We are thankful for Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, the caring place that brought us together.”
