LB & Lady

From her Geezer Guardian: “Lady and her sister LB lived with me for 2 years. Until Lady’s health issues became prevalent, they loved to investigate and patrol every inch of the yard, including barking at and chasing the occasional much larger deer who had made the mistake of jumping over the fence into the yard. Lady preferred to be inside, where she loved to help her mom work. She would regularly rear up on me and watch what I was doing on the computer. I always had to have one hand petting her, of course. Lady was a total sweetheart. Her tail was always wagging, even after her hips and legs failed her. She was a happy-go-lucky girl.”

From her Geezer Guardian: “LB (renamed Ellie), from ‘Lady & LB‘ fame, came home with me in September 2021. Ellie was really shy. I could pet and love on her, but she determined when and for how long. To me, it was a ‘win’ when I got tail wags from her. She knew she was loved. She was very much food driven, often pouncing on the food while still pouring it in her bowl. She also loved ‘getting in her steps’ and investigating every blade of grass in my yard. Ellie crossed the rainbow bridge in May, joining her buddy Lady, who had gone over a few months ago. She is now free from pain and able to walk all she wants with Lady again.”
