Lucille

From her Geezer Guardian: “When I first brought Lucille home with me, she didn’t look or act sick, but I knew my time with her was limited because she had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She made the most of every single day. She would search me out in the house and plop beside me on her back wanting her tummy song. And she did really well until the last week when the large tumor came back under her leg making it difficult for her to walk. I only had her for three weeks and three days but she imprinted on my heart forever. She took everything in stride that was happening to her. So accepting. So much courage in that tiny little body.”
