Ms. Peggy
Ms. Peggy graced us with her presence in June 2020 and quickly became an integral part of the sanctuary family. To know her was to love her! Her joy knew no bounds, especially when it came to riding in her cherished red wagon. Whether volunteers or staff, eager companions were always at the ready to spend one-on-one time with Peggy just to bask in her delightful company. Treats were her weakness, and she’d do anything for a tasty snack. And, let’s of course not forget her penchant for sunglasses, which landed her the coveted spot of our 2022 Calendar Cover Girl! Her sweet smile and sassy side-eye will not be soon forgotten.
On her final day on this side of the Bridge, Ms. Peggy was surrounded by love and showered with endless kisses and hugs. She indulged in some extra delicious treats (ice cream!), relished one last ride in her wagon, and was enveloped in the warmth of her favorite humans’ embraces. Ms. Peggy, you are missed dearly and deeply, but we are honored to have been by your side for the past four years. Rest easy, beauty!
