Papa Bear

Papa Bear was a determined old man of few words. He was very much in his ‘own world’ but would seek out affectionate moments, on his own terms, with a person or another dog; it was incredibly moving and endearing when he did. Papa Bear loved being outside, on the grass, and enjoyed cart rides. He enjoyed exploring his surroundings and loved taking a siesta in the laps of those that cared for him. He had a special volunteer friend who came to cuddle with him, and he would relax into her arms like he knew she was there especially for him. Papa Bear’s presence is already sorely missed. Rest easy, Papa.
