Peaches

From her Geezer Guardian: “I brought home Peaches in January of 2021. She had those Sad Eyes, her freckles so unique. She was not affectionate at all, however. Never understood why people wanted to touch her but would tolerate some petting. If I cozied up against her or tucked my feet under her on the sofa, she would get up and relocate herself. I always likened us to the Golden Girls…two single gals finding ourselves unlikely roommates, through abandonment, a pandemic. Peaches was Sophia to my Dorothy: both stubborn, sassy, at times prickly, but totally devoted to each other. I miss her so much. Peaches, thank you for being a friend.”
