From her Geezer Guardian: “Our time together was short, but no little girl was ever loved more. You took a big piece of my heart with you, but you left an even bigger piece of yours here with me. I will tuck it away safely and treasure it forever. Inside her little four-and-a-half-pound body was the biggest heart and a relentless will to live. She would bark and bark to let me know she needed or wanted something, whether she was hungry, thirsty or had to potty. There have been times these last few days that I still hear her barking for me. I will miss her forever. Thank you to the OF Medical Department for the love, care and sympathy you showed to Sage and me. It helped me get through and was much appreciated. My Sage, loving you was worth it. Every tear, every stabbing pain of grief… You were worth it.”
