“Oh, hi! My name is Sampson, and I’m a super cute Chihuahua if I do say so myself. It takes me a little bit to warm up to someone new, but if you show me some patience I’ll be your friend in no time. You’ll find that I’m a gentle guy, though I’m not afraid to bite when frightened. I do have some back-end malformations (I don’t remember if I was born with them or if there was an event that caused them), but both of my rear legs are affected; my right more so than my left. This causes me to walk quite a bit differently, but it doesn’t stop me from getting around or enjoying life! The physical rehabilitation team here has been providing me with laser therapy to help reduce inflammation and water treadmill therapy to aid in strengthening; I also receive chiropractic care! I’ve found a Geezer Guardian to take me in to her home & she brings me in for my PT appointments! It doesn’t get much better than that!”
