Spencer

From his Geezer Guardians: “Spencer was by far the strongest dog I have ever met. We forever fostered him 2 years and 4 months ago. As soon as I walked him as a volunteer, I knew he was special. Spencer was easy to love and loved by most, but to be loved by him was something to be earned. He guarded his mommy at all times. He hated delivery drivers and baths. He loved laying in the sun, taking walks so he could sniff everything, sweet potatoes, car rides, and his brother, Mr. Kitty. He would bark at the neighbor’s house every morning until he got a treat. And he would run outside if I said, ‘Daddy’s home!’ He was stubborn and grumpy, but he was smart, handsome, and a big love bug! Someone once said to me that he was lucky to have us. I turned and said, ‘No, we are lucky to have him.’ He filled our lives with love, joy, and laughter. He will forever be in our hearts. My only prayer is that he is pain-free playing in the sun and that I will see him again.”
