Spice

From her Geezer Guardian: “Almost a year ago, I was ready for my next foster pup. I think she was the third or fourth one brought out to me and her name was Spice. I had never dealt with little dogs before but knew I could no longer physically handle a large dog in case of an emergency. It was not love at first sight. She was part Jack Russell/part Chihuahua and all I knew is that every Chihuahua I had ever met tried to kill me. But once I got her home, she was my baby. She wasn’t happy unless she was in my lap snuggling or curled up in bed asleep touching me. She had to be in the middle of everything. She ran this house and everybody who came through the doors. The only thing she ever feared was a summer thunderstorm and then she became my own personal boa. And she loved nothing more than getting her paws massaged. She was just the sweetest little thing. My friends would tell me that these dogs tend to live very long lives so I thought I would have more time with her but… cancer. My non-OF dog and cat went into mourning when I didn’t bring Bobbie Lee home that day from her recheck. As tiny as she was, she filled this house. There just wasn’t enough time. I suppose there never is.”
