Sweet Momma
From her Geezer Guardian: “The minute I saw Sweet Momma I knew she would become our. The truth was I thought I would only have her for a very short time as her health was so poor. She rallied, gained some much-needed weight, and embraced her new life. Little did she know she was my Angel, helping me heal from the loss of Old Friend Abner, and has been helping me since then with multiple heartbreaks along the way. Her joy was visiting the local park, and we would hang out by the playgrounds because she had a love for small children. She would amble up to them and nudge their tiny hands, delighting everyone she met. Momma was full of Grace, in her demeanor and staunch independence, and eventually in how she allowed herself to be cared for when even her fortitude could only take her so far. My friends and previous foster of Old Friend Cole looked after Momma while I was in the UK back in the summer and they said it best… ‘We could never tell how much of our doting was tolerance vs enjoyment, which made even the smallest nose~boop from her feel like she was showering us with affection.’ I know she is waiting, with paws crossed (her signature pose) at the Rainbow Bridge) for all who adored her.”
