Wilson
From his Geezer Guardians: “Wilson was welcomed into our pack over Thanksgiving 2020. Wilson came into our home as a quiet, slow, and independent old man, but blossomed into a bossy, loyal, energetic, and funny pup. He loved running with his fur siblings on our acreage, rolling around in the grass and leaves, and laying in the sun or on our front porch. Wilson was sure to give us a good nudge with his paws or nose & head when it was time for dinner, pets, or treats, and would give you a little grunt and grumble or a hearty hound dog bark if you were moving too slow. He LOVED to go for rides and put his head out the window; scratching on the door anytime he demanded the window be rolled down. He was the biggest snuggle bug, & sometimes that came with a lack of respect for personal space. Wilson’s pre-cuddle flops were hilarious – you could see them coming . . . he would sit up, start to lean back, then FLOP onto your lap. He did this on his fur siblings, too. We were all living in Wilson’s world, and it was full of so much love and a beautiful smile that lit up the room every day. We never imagined with Wilson being estimated to be on the tail-end of 12 when we brought him home, that we would be blessed with a little over 3 ½ years with his beautiful soul, but of course – it still wasn’t enough. Wilson was the BEST brother to our other pups and kitties & a happy presence every day. We needed him just as much (if not more) as he needed us. We love & miss you deeply, Wilson & are incredibly grateful to OFSDS for bringing us together.”
