Chigger Jones
From his Geezer Guardians: “Chigger Jones waddled into our home on a hot summer day in 2020, and changed our lives. Chigger recognized a lack of leadership and immediately assumed the responsibility of firm, but benevolent dictator. He supervised all our activities, reminding us when it was time for snacks and snuggles, keeping us to a firm bedtime routine. Chigger died in the arms of his beloved Daddy, relaxed and loved. He is buried in our woods, next to the creek, underneath a 250-year-old oak tree, and between two of his dachshund brothers that went before him. Many people speak of the Rainbow Bridge, and if that is true, I imagine that Chigger is running free and happy, enjoying the sunshine and grass, and waiting to be reunited with us. Rest in peace, Chigger. We will never forget you.”
