Gertie Birdie

“Hello, humans! I’m Gertie Birdie, but you can call me Gertie for short, like my legs! I’m more than just your typical low-riding dachshund, though – have you seen my magnificent ears?! I LOVE going for car rides, especially in the warm months when you can roll down the window for me and I can let my beautiful flappers fly in the wind. I’m also a big fan of fuzzy blankets that I can burrow myself in for a nap! My vision is limited, but this doesn’t keep me from exploring. I’m very pleased to share that I’ve found my forever home with a longtime OFSDS volunteer and Geezer Guardian who is open to trading hearts (which is exactly what I was looking for, because I have lots of love to share)! I can’t wait for all that’s to come!”
